TAWC has a wide variety of programming which includes but is not limited to; H.E.R. Place Women's Shelter (855-827-7233), 24 hour Crisis Line (877-268-8380), Counselling, Advocacy, Accompaniment, Safety Planning, Transitional Housing Support, Family Court Support, Aboriginal Programming (within the shelter), Group Counselling, Clothing Exchange Program and Public Education. As experts in the area of violence against women, Timmins and Area Women in Crisis provides crisis intervention services with a non-judgemental and confidential approach. We work towards empowerring women to become independent by supporting them in making healthy choices and acheiving their goals.
