Timmins, ON | July 2, 2019— The Timmins Chamber has partnered with their member Timmins Festival and Events Committee (TFEC) to challenge the local business community to break out their best band t-shirts and bare them at work on July 5. A fun-filled initiative for a Friday, the Chamber and TFEC are encouraging business owners and their employees to wear their favourite band shirts, snap a photo using the #finditINtimmins, #ROTRTimmins, and #BandShirtDay, and post to social media for a chance to win tickets to this year’s Rock On The River taking place July 26-27 at the Mountjoy Historical Participark. “We’re calling on Timmins businesses to don their best Duran Duran, wear their favourite White Snake, bust out the Black Sabbath, and dust of that Def Leppard shirt and show some support for Rock On The River,” said Nancy Mageau, President of the Timmins Chamber. “When we find it in Timmins, our business community can continue its many contributions to events such as the one hosted by TFEC and the Chamber is pleased to promote this fun initiative,” said Mageau. Be sure to post by end of day Friday for your chance to win. For more information on how your business can participate, visit TFEC’s Facebook page at facebook.com/TimminsFestivals.
