Vien’s Mobile Sugar Shack is a proudly Métis Francophone-owned business serving Timmins and surrounding communities. We bring the authentic experience of a traditional cabane à sucre directly to festivals, schools, community events, corporate functions, weddings, and private celebrations throughout Northeastern Ontario. Rooted in Métis and Francophone heritage, our mission is to celebrate and share the rich traditions, stories, and values that connect maple harvesting, community gathering, and cultural preservation. Through interactive maple syrup experiences, traditional maple taffy on snow, and cultural education, we create opportunities for people of all ages to learn about and appreciate the unique contributions of Métis and French Canadian communities. At Vien’s Mobile Sugar Shack, we believe that food, culture, and storytelling bring people together. By combining authentic maple traditions with warm hospitality, we help strengthen community connections while preserving and promoting Métis Francophone culture across Timmins and the surrounding region.
